Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center (CAMCAC)’s Hot Springs branch development coordinator will give an overview of their services, as well as discuss basic child safety and child abuse prevention.
The CAMCAC’s mission is to provide a safe, child friendly and caring place where children are assessed when allegations of child abuse arise. CAMCAC is one of 17 advocacy centers in the state of Arkansas and has the unique distinction of being the only hospital-based child advocacy center in the state. The CAMCAC serves approximately 700 clients annually and has additional offices located in both Benton and Mena.
