What: Beginning Tai Chi for Health

This is a pop-in class, and new participants can join at any time during this 8-week course.

In this Beginning Tai Chi for Health program, instructor Jerry Matlock will be using tai chi principles to help you increase your overall level of health, energy and balance. The class is designed so that anyone at any level of experience with tai chi will benefit. Participants will be learning Qigong breathing, energy exercises and a basic tai chi form. All parts of the class are based on evidence, data based practices and research from the Tai Chi for Health Institute created and facilitated by Dr. Paul Lam. Dr. Lam’s philosophy with his programs embraces everyone at every level, including seated participants. In addition to the health, energy and balance benefits, there is a definite benefit of greater emotional and mental peace of mind.
