Registration is required and begins 1/15 at 9:00 a.m.

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to come sip coffee, tea, or cocoa and learn about different elements
of writing fiction, including characters, plot, scenes, setting, point of view, dialogue, and more.
We’ll discuss what works for us as writers and what doesn’t…and we might even get some
words on the page. Maybe.
This​ ​month we’ll talk about setting–time, place, weather, light, etc.–and how our settings impact
our stories. We’ll also tinker around with some mapmaking software. ​​​​
This program is appropriate for teens with any level of writing experience. Whether you’re an
absolute beginner, or you have boxes of completed work shoved under your bed, we’ve got you
covered.
