Garland County State and Local Candidate Forum and Q&A

The Garland County Library will host a state and local candidate forum on Tuesday, September 27th. Doors open to the public for meet and greet at 5:30pm, with the forum beginning at 6pm.
All state and local candidates who will be on a Garland County ballot will invited to participate. Candidates will each get 7 minutes of time to give a speech and answer audience questions. Candidates for U.S. Senate or Governor of Arkansas will get 12 minutes of time to give a speech and answer audience questions.
The guest moderators and timekeepers are local personality Charlie Moore and Marsalis Weatherspoon of the local NAACP branch.
Admission is free and open to the public, though seating is limited. This event will also be livestreamed to the Garland County Library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
