The latest episode in the Garland County Master Gardeners’ “Know It to Grow It” series will introduce us to the Bats of Arkansas and discuss their importance to our environment.
Presenter Phillip Jordan is a Wildlife Biologist who has worked with the US Forest Service for 8 years. He graduated from Arkansas State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Ecology and Management as well as a master’s degree in Biology. He has been working with, studying and catching bats for the last 15 years. He has worked all over Arkansas and has caught all 16 species that live in Arkansas.
