Master Gardener and repeat KITGI presenter Jamie Wilkerson will teach the basics of canning. This overview will include 3 different canners as well as what can and cannot be canned in them. Other key topics will be the effects on canning of altitude and pressure, and the simple tools needed to can at home. Jamie will also demonstrate a quick refrigerator pickle recipe everyone can do at home.
