Diabetes is a disease that can have serious consequences, but those issues can often be delayed or prevented by controlling your blood glucose and blood pressure. The Living Well with Diabetes classes offers people with diabetes and their family members or caretakers tips for managing blood glucose, blood cholesterol & blood pressure as well as simple meal planning strategies. Each session will include cooking demonstrations & tastings plus hands-on activities and class discussions. The program will have 4 weekly sessions lasting about 2 hours each. Class size is limited.

It does not provide individualized goals for calories, carbohydrate, fat, or sodium or meal plans for participants.
