Please join us for a day of celebrating authors in and around Garland County!
Keynote Speech by Karen Bryan | 10:00-10:45 A.M. | Nonfiction Art Wall
Karen Bryan is the Executive Director of Arkansas Learning Through the Arts and the co-editor of Blackness in Opera, a look at how race and blackness play out in opera, published by University of Illinois Press.
Local Author Panel | 10:45 A.M.-12:00 P.M. | Nonfiction Art Wall
Local authors will introduce themselves and tell about their newest projects. Some may even read short excerpts from their work. This portion of the event will also be livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube.
Local Author Meet & Greet | 1:00-3:00 P.M. | Auditorium
Meet your favorite local authors face-to-face, chat with them, and buy signed copies of their books. Light refreshments will be served.
Young Writers Showcase | 4:30-5:00 P.M. | Auditorium
Celebrate the elementary and high school winners of our 2024 Fantasy Story Contest! Light refreshments will be served.
