What: Pumpkin Decorating Contest
When: 10/1/24 – 10/30/24
Where: Garland County Library
Who: Child – Teen – Adult
Bring a decorated pumpkin to the library to enter our pumpkin decorating competition and fill out a card with your name, age, and phone number. Your pumpkin will receive a number and be placed in the library for patrons to view. Vote in-house and online on Thursday, October 31st until 3 pm.
One Facebook like = 1 vote. One paper vote in-house = 1 vote.
Voting will end at 3 pm on the 31st. The pumpkin with the highest vote in its age category will receive a $50 gift card prize. Winners will be announced by 4 pm on the 31st.
Age Groups:
Category #1: Ages Birth – 5
Category #2: Ages 6 -12
Category #3: 13-18
Category #4: 18 & up
Pumpkin Rules:
- Carved pumpkins WILL NOT be accepted!
- One entry of a single pumpkin per person
- All pumpkins must be appropriate for an all-ages audience to view.
- All pumpkins must stay until 3pm on October 31st to be voted on.
- All pumpkins not picked up by Monday, November 4th will be thrown away.
