Three Art Springs is a simultaneous production of painting, poetry, and music in synchronized collaboration to express the grandeur of the arts.

The Artist…… Marlene Gremillion 

“Creating with my hands is a love of mine that I find relaxing and fulfilling. There is an inner need to always create.” Marlene is well known in and out of artistic circles not only in Arkansas, but also in Louisiana, Texas, and Florida. Since 1992 her work has been accepted in numerous national art shows and has garnered many awards. She has spread her knowledge of art through numerous workshops including The National Parks Community College Continuing Ed Program as well as The Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock. A member of many art organizations, she is past president of the Artists’ Workshop Gallery in Hot Springs.

The Poet…. Kai Coggin

Kai is a widely published poet, teaching artist, and author of four books of poetry, most recently Mining For Stardust. Additionally she is a Master Naturalist, a teen mentor for Write Girl and host of the longest running consecutive weekly open mic series in the country….Wednesday Night Poetry. Awards include, among others, “Best Poet” in Arkansas by the Arkansas Times, 2021 Governors Arts Award, and being named Poet Laureate of Hot Springs.

The Musician…. Charlie Mink

Charlie, a Mountain Dulcimer Player, is the co-founder and manager of The Celtic Breeze Band. He is a former contract musician with the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, AR and taught Dulcimer in the Stone County School System Music Roots Program. He teaches Mountain Dulcimer individual and group workshops. He has four CDs to his credit and can be seen and heard playing the Olden Gray Dulcimer at various locations around Hot Springs.
