(V) A Bird and a Book: Wood Carver Dean Hurliman

Hosted by Garland County Audubon Society and avid birder Jerry Butler. Featuring special guest Dean Hurliman, woodcarver and author of the poetry compilation And Nobody Sees Them But Me. Hurliman recently donated several realistic bird carvings to the Garland County Library, all of which are currently on display.

Special attention will be given to this program’s featured bird, the presumed-extinct Eskimo curlew. A new carving from Hurliman will be unveiled during the broadcast, and will then be displayed at the Garland County Library.
