(VIRTUAL) Five Keys to Writing Short Stories for Pre-Teen Girls

Do you want to write stories that will engage young girls?  Whether you want to write for the pre-teen girls in your life, enter contests, or publish, this streaming workshop will provide you with keys to help you on your way.  Learn how writing for contemporary girls differs from the stories that previous generations read, how to avoid pitfalls, and how to keep contemporary readers engaged.

Program is presented by Dr. Millie Gore (Professor Gore) is an award-winning writer whose books have been shelved in over a thousand libraries on every continent except Antarctica.  She has presented workshops on writing for over two decades throughout the US and in Great Britain.   She holds a doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and taught writing to students from first grade through graduate school for 36 years. Participants will have the opportunity to win autographed pre-publication copies of her new book, Short Stories for Arkansas Girls, and her award-winning children’s picture book All is Assuredly Well.
