Join Marsalis Weatherspoon and his guests in “Perceptions of Color,” a monthly series that intends to both celebrate and educate about all facets of the African-American experience. Weatherspoon, a musician, speaker, and public servant, currently serves as President of the local N.A.A.C.P. branch, Hot Springs Branch #6013.

This second episode takes an educational look at the genre of “Black Horror.” From 1968’s Night of the Living Dead to modern films like 2017’s Get Out and 2019’s Us, learn about the intriguing history and messages behind these films.

Guest speaker Daniel Coffee has been reviewing movies and shows for the last 6 years but has taken his talents to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, giving movie news and reviews. Check him out on his channel “Drink More Coffee!!”, where you can also pick up tips on making drinks.
