Join the Garland County Extension Service and EHC for their Wonderful Wednesdays! series as they kick start the new year toward better health.
“Taking prescription medication is a part of the daily routine for approximately 60% of U.S. adults. Responsible medication disposal can easily become just as routine. Improper disposal of unused or expired medications has the potential to result in drugs getting into our environment (air, water, food) or into the hands of at-risk populations, like infants and youth. Join us to learn the do’s and don’ts of medication disposal, including take-back guidance and how to protect yourself and others from potential harmful effects of unsecured medication.” – Alison Crane, FCS Agent – Garland Co.
