Bingo for Books

What: Bingo for Books
When: 3rd Monday of every month (& 1st Wednesday starting in July)
Where: Library Auditorium
Who: Ages 18+
No registration required

The library hosts its long-running, popular Bingo program in the auditorium every month on the 3rd Monday at 1 P.M. (Falls on the 4th Monday when the 3rd Monday is a holiday), as well as the 1st Wednesday at 1 P.M. starting in July!

Prizes include various gift cards to restaurants and grocery stores, as well as some gift certificates to the library’s Book Sale Room. All prizes for this program are sponsored by the Friends of the Garland County Library.

As part of the library’s commitment to accessibility, we also have braille bingo cards available to blind and visually-impaired players. Patrons with hearing loss are also supported with numbers appearing on screen.

No registration is required.

Join us for the exciting season finale of the America’s Art Form Concert Series!

Ryk St. Vincent performs in his signature “crooner” style. His baritone voice is said to “caress each tune in a soulful manner and expression. The Little Rock-based Ryk is also a former radio jazz program D.J. featured on NPR.

The concert series will take a brief break for the rest of the Summer and concerts will resume later in 2023.

For June’s program, The Silver Strings will showcase 5 string players from the Central Arkansas area playing violin, cello, bass, and viola.

Individual players from the Silver Strings have performed with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, the Delta Symphony Orchestra, the Saline Symphony Orchestra, and the Hot Springs Village Strings.
