DIY Easter Basket Decorating Contest

Dust off your D.I.Y skills for an Easter Basket Decorating Contest! Challengers will use their own materials and basket to create their masterpiece. After glitzing and glamming, challengers will drop their basket off at the library where we’ll put it on display for voting. Baskets must be turned in between March 1st and April 1st. On April 2nd, the best basket will be voted on in a public contest.  The winner will win a “Single Plus Membership” to Garvan Woodland Gardens. This membership allows them to bring a guest of their choice each time they visit.

Rules:
-Baskets should be around 12″ in size (no bigger).
-No perishable food (such as real eggs) should be placed in baskets.
-Baskets should not include content that may be considered inappropriate for children to see, as they will be displayed at the library.

*Need a tip for where to get cheap supplies? Don’t forget to try places like Habitat for Humanity and Goodwill for used and nearly new craft materials and baskets.
