(VIRTUAL) Basic Astronomy and Telescopes w/ Steve Skubish

This virtual program is livestreamed on the library’s Facebook and YouTube accounts.

Learn some astronomy and telescope basics that will help you make the most out of viewing the celestial bodies in our night skies.

Steve Skubish, member of the Hot Springs Village Stargazers Club since 2007, will present this virtual overview. According to Skubish, “the reaction people get when someone views Saturn’s rings or the Orion Nebula for the first time is worth all the effort” of learning about stargazing.

Contact the library for information about checking out telescopes for free.
